How long do imports take?
Imported tyres typically arrive within 4 to 8 weeks from the date your order is confirmed. We consolidate import orders to keep freight costs down. If you have a specific event date, message us via WhatsApp on 072 632 4159 and we’ll let you know if we can prioritise your order.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship across South Africa via The Courier Guy or your preferred courier. Local stock typically dispatches within 1 to 2 business days from our Krugersdorp warehouse. Delivery times vary by location — major centres 1 to 3 days, outlying areas 3 to 5 days.

Are Hoosier tyres DOT-approved for road use?
It depends on the tyre. Our DOT drag radials (DR2, QT Pro) and Pro Street range are DOT-approved for road use. Pure race tyres — slicks, dirt oval, karting — are competition-only and not road legal. Check the individual product page or message us if you’re not sure which is right for your build.
What’s the difference between R7 and A7 racing compounds?
The R7 is a medium compound built for endurance and longer race sessions — consistent grip over a full stint. The A7 is a softer, stickier compound for shorter sessions like time attack or qualifying where ultimate grip matters more than wear life. Not sure which suits your event? Can I order a size that isn’t listed in stock?
Yes. Most Hoosier sizes are available to import even if we don’t carry them locally. Look for the “Enquire to Import” button on the product page, or message us directly with the size and compound you need. Import lead time is typically 4 to 8 weeks.
